Northampton to Reims
9 Answers
What is the EASIEST way to travel from Kettering/Corby area in last two weeks in September to Soissons/Reims area in France - ie with least changeovers etc. Either by coach, train or plane - no preference. Traveller will be a 64 year old going to stay with family. He's very intelligent and used to travelling abroad. I'm helping to arrange a family reunion so any help will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Of course, it depends upon your exact dates and times of travel but (for example) Corby to Reims only costs £135 return when travelling out on Thursday 15th September and back a fortnight later.
The best flight option would be from East Midlands to Paris Charles de Gaulle, with BmiBaby. The journey from CDG to Reims can be completed by changing at Champagne-Ardenne, with a total journey time of under an hour (but with a quite expensive return fare, of around £55). To get to East Midlands Airport would require a train to Leicester, then the Skylink bus.

I did suggest it tongue in cheek, but if you want a link to Netjets, here you are.
