my washing machine wont fill with water

Hi,

Don't know if anyone can help, Ive got a HotPoint washing machine and it won't fill with water. There is 3 red lights flashing.
Ive tried to turn it off at the switch and removed and cleaned the filter but had no luck.
Anyone got any ideas?

Does the manual tell you what the 3 lights mean?

Yeah that the filter is blocked, but its not, had it out twice.

Is there a filter in the hosepipe?

Indeed there is usually a filter on the input hose.disconnect the machine from electric pull it out unscew feed hose(s) and make sure they are clean.Surprising how much gunk gets into the water supply even these days.This should be done annualy only takes 10 mins or so.hope this works if not feel about above filter I once pulled a sock from my aunts machine think it was hotpoint too.
