The medicine the doc suggested can affect your liver but as she had a liver enzyme problem when she was recently pregnant her GP decided that she would just have to live with the problem. Her solution is to get 'Minxies' (sp), which I think is a sort of fancy plastic covering a bit like acrylic fingernails!!
A few months ago I was explaining to a Romanian woman that im an Atheist but as a baby I was christened. she laughed at me and said "You cant just become an Atheist, you will need to ask a priest first!"
I did explain to her that I would not be doing that in no uncertain terms, I did feel just a tad insulted!!

You might want to try using tea tree oil as a topical treatment (grapefruit extract or oregano oil can be alternatives if tea tree oil is not available), then use diluted apple cider vinegar as foot soak. You just have to be patient though because it can take months for you to notice the result. To make these remedies more potent, you can use an otc anti-fungal cream like ZeroFungus in conjunction with these herbal cures. Perhaps, it will make the treatment faster. I wish you luck in treating your nail fungal infection.
