I used to make a white bread that had potato in it. It was the moistest bread I've ever had-really yummy. Damned if I know where the recipe is though. ;-(

yeah, potato cakes! there the ones they are! ;o)

little triangle pieces, you lightly fry in the pan with a tinsy bit of oil so they dont go greasy.

Here in the U.S. flour is actually made from potatos and then used (in tandem with white flour) to make potato bread. It's quite good and can be bought in loaves at any store selling bread. It (the potato flour) is much heavier than standard flour so one has to be careful of accurate measurements.
