The Bachelor

Did anyone watch the new programme The Bachelor with Gavin Henson last evening?Opinions please.
I thought it was one of the worst reality tv programmes I have ever watched.Mindless twaddle with a load of supposed beauties hoping he would choose one of them for a special relationship. He is whittling them down by presenting a rose to each of the ones he fancies and its goodbye go home to the rest of them.
I cant imagine how much he will have the mickey taken out of him by his Rugby mates in the dressing room. What a woossy bloke he has become.
I shant watch again next week. LOL

I couldn't stand him, but actually he grew on me on the programme. Most of the girls were dogs! I'll watch it next week.

Only watched the last 15 minutes, cant believe how those girls lowered themselves to look like a herd of cows at a cattle market.

I think there is something a bit feminine and unattractive about him, but he may grow on me. It was so obvious that the bossy chav was going to be put through ( was the last to be put through) as she will make for entertaining tv, which is what it is supposed to be about anyway.
I have seen parts of the last one where non celeb was used and it is mindless teasels, but can be entertaining to watch! Was it the same series that used to be presented by Ulrika Johnson and she ended up by marrying and then divorcing the guy who was the batchelor in one of the series?

I watched it & enjoyed it. I like Gavin. I also like the American version of The Batchelor & Batchelorette (sp)

I saw him on 71 Degrees North last year and could not believe what a vain, arrogant, "look at me, aren't I lovely" prat he was! He had a temper tantrum when he lost one of the tasks and I was so pleased that he didn't win at the end. So no, I didn't watch The Bachelor as I can't stand him.

I liked him on Strictly last year, but didn't fancy this programe at all, so didn't watch. Personally, I think he's nice looking, but why does he have to do this to meet a girl I wonder.

^ and PS, he said in a newspaper interview that he was concerned how he would come over in the programme, since he has two young children and he didn't want them to get the wrong impression if they saw it.
