Does anyone know a work-around to get the above Scanner working on Windows 7 - USB connection. Does not appear possible according to the HP and Microsoft web sites.

It seems it will work if you download vuescan and use that...

There's a free trial, but if it works and you carry on using it you'll have to pay for it.
Chuck I have an A3 Mustek ScanExpress used just occasionally with XP. When I upgraded to Vista (now Windows7) I had to borrow a family laptop with XP as no updated drivers available family now upgraded too . Is it likely to work with vuescan thanks
Give it a go and see. it supports a lot of older scanners that normally wouldn't work under windows7

If it works using the free trial then you've got to decide if you want to purchase it or not (about 20-25 quid) if it doesn't work then just uninstall it
thanks I'll do that had been thinking of dumping it
