I have two old T shirts, which I really like, ruined them with bleach (splash from toilet) and Tomato soup... Can I bleach them to make them fresher for next summer? is it half bleach/half water, or do I have to finally chuck them? I MIGHT add a different colour if bleach works. Thanks

What colour are they to start with?

Both lilac
If they are already ruined go for it you can't do any more harm and they might turn out OK.
You can get something which strips the colour out then dye with colour of choice. Never tried it so can't say how good it is though
Sterilising solutions works. Try that...not so harsh as bleach, but will take longer. If it comes out an uneven colour then dye with a machine dye.
What about tie dying them? That can often look really good! :)
Note of caution..I used machine dye and my machine was giving out small bits of dark coloured ick for about 10 washes afterwards. And yes, I did wash it on hot with nothing in afterwards. I would use a basin if I were you. Have you thought of tie dye? You tie bits of string round parts of the tshirt and then dye. It won't matter then if the colour is uneven. Just an idea. Mind you with the price of dye it would probably be better to use the tshirts as floor cloths...
do a tie dye but with bleach. not sure what the concentrate would be
