There are lots of pradeep12s on various forums- just do a google search
eg http://www.loveawake.com/profile/pradeep12/
It may be a common user name or maybe they are all one person

how is reporting a crime stabbing someone in the back? What a stupid thing to say!
Ok, so it wasn't your shop that was broken into (i'm guessing) but what if it'd been your house? If i knew someone had been involved, would it be stabbing them int he back then to report them?
Wrong....my tongue was stuck in my cheek somewhere... ;-)
Question Author
well like i said, if he/she really is in sri lanka, they don't have anything to worry about, do they?
Bednobs the person in question didn't mention once that it was uk riots so as much as I commend your nature to jump the gun and call the already strained authorities to waste their time. In cases like this the best work you can do is entrapment, as in asking them specific questions/dates etc... and only then when you're 100% sure should you call the police. Have you any idea how many hoaxes, boasts and trolling involving the uk riots there have been on various forums? Thousands and unfortunately if there are a few real ones amongst that lot the police have the thousands of no real ones in their way due jumpy do gooders with itchy trigger fingers.
Well done, bednobs..........:o)

If he *was* involved, he is a moron........if he's merely making up posts about being involved, he is a moron!
Whichever - it's got rid of him.

really i don't care all that much wrongnumber (in fact, really, not at all) I was so dismayed at the riots, i will be pleased if the police can do something. It is not my job to "entrap" idiots ('cause mainly they do it themselves) If the police can't use the information, so be it, if they can use it then great.
i find it highly improbable that someone would come to a uk based website to ask about what the penalties are in sri lankan law for illegal acts, and only mention it's sri lanka when told they are being reported.
Besides, he/she is handing themselves in this pm, so it shouldn't mattter much either way.
He/she said they'd consider my advice to keep their head down and see if it all blows over.
We can't have young people ruining their lives just because they got carried away with the excitement of the evening.
I'm upset he got rid of the stuff he looted and didn't ask me first
and who knows.. maybe one day they'll get carried away and kill someone!

dear oh dear :o/

"we can't have young people ruining their lives"
well perhaps if they didn't want to ruin their lives they shouldn't comit crimes.
If they got "carried away" with the excitement of it all and burnt down someones house, or bopped someone over the head, should they be allowed to get away with it?
Everyone is entitled to a second chance. He might go on to complete his studies and lead a productive life and contribute to society, either here or in Sri Lanka.
Did anyone actually think it was a serious question?
-- answer removed --
You mean it wasn't? Geez, you do your best to give sensible advice and what thanks do you get? Trolls laughing up their sleeves at you.
Deserves to be executed then, if in Sri Lanka.....what a loss to humanity.
Isn't this Chatterbank? Flying glass over many heads.
Flying pigs, more like...
