I would Ralph if I thought I had eaten poor Neddy!
aw how disappointing, and costly too!

definitely send a letter to them or if theyre a chain, to their head office bobbi,

myself and friends were disappointed with a meal we went for earlier this year,
so i wrote to their HO, and got an apology letter back, inviting us to return for a free meal.

so make sure you let 'em know! youve nowt to lose! :o)

Hi looby, I think it is a private place but I will drop them a line to say I was disappointed with the meal, whether I would want a free one there though?
I doubt it
well, its worth a go bobbi, it wont do any harm eh,
if customers dont tell them where they need to pull their socks up, then things wont improve will they,
so yeah, put that quill to paper asap, and let em know you all had a duff dinner! :o)

hello doc
it was certainly different..lol
quite remote with a Donkey outside my window :-)
I met a couple of Australian wine producers though, very rich, they have invited Bill and me to NSW...if only :-)
DT i have eaten horsemeat, unknowingly i might add, this was in a rather pleasant Paris restaurant. What was supposed to be rare steak, was in fact poor old dobbin. One of the group cottoned on, he spoke very passable French, and overheard the waiter, but you know it wasn't half bad, but not half good either, still we got an extra bottle of plonk out of the place, for their deception and an apology, very unfrench i must say.

I'm never that impressed with roasts out, nothing like your own (especially my mum's). They seem to have a thing about faffing with gravy to make it all posh when I prefer just nice normal meaty stuff.

I used to work in a carvery and we used to pre-cook and store so much of the stuff like veg and potatoes then it was just reheated later to go on the serving bit. The meat was always freshly carved though.
