my hair is really brittle, when i run my fingers through it, the ends break off. i think its from over using my straighteners and i now know what to do to prevent it, but does any1 know any products that will make it stronger & less brittle?

same thing happened to mine! i have to have it trimed every 8 weeks without fail and i always condition.the only thing you can do is use a deep treatment once or twice a week.wash ur hair in moisurizing shampoo, then towel pat dry.apply treatment and wrap hair in cling film and a warm towel for the whole day.wash off at night and allow hair to dry naturally.also dont use hairdryer either!i only straighten my hair on the odd occasion.i put it up in a knot for work every day to avoid brushing also.i have to as my hair is wild without straighners!hope this helps!!
sorry i forgot to mention.....try deep treatment products by tigi/tigi bedhead or fudge.you have to buy them at a hairdressers as they are not sold on the high street.they are a bit dearer (about 10 a bottle) but worth it as high street stuff is not proffesional enough for really damaged hair ;)

thanks i will try that,

well first off - like blue eyes get trims often. also, if you must straighten your hair - use straightener protector - like l'oreal hot straight or something, you know the advert with beyonce saying "i want it straight and smooooth". it helps conditionyour hair and prevents damage. also condition your hair and use moisturisng shampoo as blue eyes said. try to straighten as little as possible and never straighten your hair when its wet and naked (i.e without straightening products) unless your using a special wet to straight straightener.
