I have 200% cotton bedlinen and want to know why it is 200% and not 100%?

shaneystar, that link doesn't mention % at all, only thresd counts and percale.

I assumed PABLO069  had got it on special offer i.e Buy one, Gey one free.That would be 200%

nothing can be 200%  and is illegal to state an incorrect fibre composition of any retail fabric whether in garments or bed linen etc, im sure trading standards would be interested.

It can only be a printing error, in which case they shouldn't be on sale! I agree with Mickey & wonder what Trading Standards would have to say about it.

Perhaps PABLOO69 can enlighten us as to what she means exactly.
You can get 100 or 200 thread count bedlinen.Perhaps I have misread the question or she has put the percentage mark in by mistake.Egyptian cotton bedlinen is usually 200 thread count.The higher the count the more you pay for it as it is of a denser weave and better quality.Unless wherever they bought it,the retailer is passing off a cheaper linen as a better quality one .Then it should be reported to trading Standards.
