I know this is motoring but whats your views, farm Tractors are becoming more of a regular thing on the roads with pulling trailers etc, they are travelling miles with either Manure, cuttings, Plant machinery EG/ mini diggers etc, how do they get away with running Red Diesel, low road tax?

I have lived in the countryside all of my life (so far). I have been stuck behind tractors very often, ive seen more sh!t on the roads than I could ever imagine but I have never had a slide on it, I drive in accordance with such things when in country lanes.

As for cheap Red Diesel, good for them, they arent being screwed by the government and we can get our produce at a reasonable price.

If you dont like it, go live in the city!!
A point of interest.

If my memory serves me correctly, in days gone by and going back to the series1 Land Rovers, I remember that if they were fitted with a vertical stack exhaust pipe and silencer (usually protruded up through the front wing) they didn't have to pay road tax and could use red diesel. I do remember seeing these Land Rovers around.
