Dampen your finger, dip in salt, take a deep breath and put it on the mouth ulcer. Hurts like hell but works a treat!! And it is available everywhere. Good luck piggy, enjoy your holiday.

Bonjela or Anbesol are the most common things you can buy from chemist.

I suspect there will be a chemist at the airport where you can ask for advice, and insist on a proper British treatment, not any of that foreign stuff :-)

Corsodyl Gel from a good pharmacy in UK, if you have the time. Much, much better than Bonjela, etc.
