How do I close my question to further answers please?

when I feel that one of my questions has been fully answered, how do I close the topic to further answers please?

But if you put a message on the bottom saying "Thank you. no more answers please" that should help.
Alternatively just don't look at your thread - that way if anyone does answer it you won't see it.
If you are subscribed to it and keep getting emails telling you you have answers then you can select the unsubcribe option

Unfortunately there is a further answer........
It isn't just 'your' question that is being answered, but the same or a similar question that might be put by others. So people post additional relevant (and sometimes not...) information about the subject, hopefully adding to the sum of knowledge. That is the whole point of putting it here, sharing knowledge - not a personalised answer service just for you.
It can get out of hand though.
