Wishy washy colours on TV - is it me?
2 Answers
Help me - am I going mad? This morning on BBC 1 Breakfast TV around 8.15am the colours on my fairly new digital TV went all pale and wishy washy for about 20 mins or so. On the weather map I could hardly see the temperatures as the background on the map was completely white! Was this a transmission fault or is it our TV or is it my imagination! (OH thinks its me!) Its still a little bit pale but it much improved after 8.40am. Could it be anything to do with the gale force winds we're having?

We switched over on 17 August and I still hate it! The old BBC Ceefax service was much better (more info) and you got to the subjects quicker without messing about with the remote control buttons scrolling up and down. I never look at Freeview channels anyway so I don't think its a perk to have them, especially as its cost me money to buy a box and also my old analogue video won't work properly now (OH has mackled it up so it does but its beyond me!) We will need to buy a digital one soon I fear.
