When I was young a much used saying to any person acting about was if youdo not behave I will give you such a doughboy meaning I will hit you has any other person heard this and if so where the saying came from?

Never heard of the expression, but in similar circumstances my mates wife who comes from Sutton-in-Ashfield says she's going to give you a good "Raggy Dolling"
