Do for my birthday next month? Not go to a restaurant, we do that all the time, and I don't want to have a party because we are already going to two in October, and a wedding in November. Oh, and nothing involving heights, like ballooning, my heels are high enough for me thanks!

If there's nothing you really want, which is what it sounds like, why not make a donation to a local hospice or a favoured charity. They will benefit, and you'll feel much better for doing it. Then open a bottle of your favourite wine and toast your birthday
