The answer (I hope, coz this is what I've put) is "SUPPORTERS" ... ha ha!

But then I wondered ...

Do guys still actually wear jockstraps ???

Don't shorts now have sewn-in linings, like a built in pair of pants?

what's the benefit of a jock strap over normal undies!? Is it just the gluteal breathability factor!?
It's fair to say I've never worn one!

I've an old Jock complete with protective box at the bottom of my hockey kit bag, been there for over 20 years, never been washed....it would be bad luck to wash it. Anyway an acquisition a few years ago was like a pair of shorts with the relevant support and protective layers built in, you could whip out the hard bit for washing though, much more comfy than a jock!

My OH had to wear jock straps when he had a hydrocele operation, he still likes to wear them occasionally. I hate washing them, how do you hang them on the line without embarrassing everyone. The old girl next door even mentioned it once.
