brick garage refurb

i have a 60 year old brick built garage and have recently noticed a crack which runs through the pointing so that i can see daylight through it. can i have it repaired or does it need demolishing? :(

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.60 years ago, garages were a bit of an afterthought, Wookers. The foundations were often very shallow. It's hard to know if it's still moving. It may well have settled.
You could try this first....... then just monitor it for any further movement......

Easy to do. Rake out some horizontal joints...... bed in the Steel bar, and point up again.
