How can I import video from my camcorder to my pc using firewire?

When I try to capture my captured video from my camcorder to my pc it doesnt even recognise that the camera is connected... whats happening? I need to be able to upload this video soon... :S Thanks in advance for any help....



PS I just got a firewire card installed today...

If Firewire does not work try USB.


If you have USB2 then it is faster than firewire
