aqua fit classes
7 Answers
Hi
I am currently going to hydrotherapy after having a spinal fracture and only have 2 sessions left. It does appear to be helping me and I was wondering if anybody knew if attending aqua fit classes would be a good idea. I know the water in the hydrotherapy pool is a lot warmer than a swimming pool but there is nowhere with a hydrotherapy pool other than the hospital.
Do you think aqua fit is a good idea and how intense are the exercises? Might it be 'too much' at this stage?
Thank you :-)

It's low impact but it is hard work although not as tiring as a normal aerobics class. I had a hip op earlier this year which I'm all better from now and there are still a couple of exercises we do in aqua-aerobics that make me wince a little bit so I think you might a bit as well. I would talk to your physiotherapist.
