Pressure cookers

Hi I have just brought a pressure cooker and have looked on here and googled and got mixed results ,some love them and others hate them . I am mainly interested in stews , curries and cooking meat in them some people have said that dried beans and pulses can be messy .Has any one made any decent curries in one any advice please

I could have given you one; now that I have a slow cooker for stews, curries, meat etc. I never found that vegetables were any better when prepared in the pressure cooker and there was little difference between the time factors of straight forward boiling or simmering. In fact I would say that speeding-up cooking often spoils the end result.
