Going out to meet some of the ladies I worked with at Boots many years ago, we are meeting to go for coffee and a scone,at a nice small hotel in my village,all very genteel..lol, might even get out my twin set and pearls...speak soon

Morning Bobbie, the weather is beautiful, my mood isn't. Our council seems hellbent on screwing up on every available opportunity, what's new, and can't get an answer out of them for love nor money. Annoyed and certainly phised off. Hope you have a good lunch, we didn't do the lottery, as completely forgot, so won't be moving any day soon.

It's more of a 10-30 coffee em, there's about 8 of us meet each month which is nice, we are all retired and enjoying it :-)
Hope you sort out your problem with your council, although they tend to be a law unto themselves..good luck x

We actually have more in common - my husband is a retired Boots pharmacist, but now back working part time! Didn't win the lottery either, but will still get a few quid back!
