it is Doc, but loads to see and do, the problem is, Naomi is coming to Newcastle and Beamish is a fair way from there

Ten days, or thereabouts, Bobbie. My husband dives off the Farne Islands - with the seals. He tells me they love to play and hang on to the divers' fins (I call them flippers - but he's an instructor, and I'm only a pathetically wimpish warm water diver!). I love it up there. I think it's a magnificent coastline.

i just spent two days and two nights in newcastle. couldn't wait to get home.

the girls behind the bar at players in the gates were fit though, almost worth the trip alone.

Oh, we'll go to Beamish. It looks very interesting - and we don't mind the distance. We stay in the Bamburgh area. We went to Alnwick castle last year. For an avid Harry Potter fan like me, it was a 'must'! :o)
