Wosrt TV series Endings

What is the worst TV ending of a series that' you've sat patiently watching waiting for an explanation but were (duped) by the disappointing ending that was such a cop-out?
Two from me were 'Lost' and 'the Event'

I haven't seen either version so can't comment. I have heard mixed feelings about it though some good some bad.

Coronation street is a national Institution so there's no getting away from it, I haven't watched it in years but heard it's gone downhill in recent years.

American Gothic - seemed to go on for ever (and ever) and then kind of just stopped.

Yes I remember that, kaylib, i think his name was with the deep south American twang. Gary Coleman was in it... yes again the yanks reel us in...

I agree, the US version of The Killing. I tuned in to see what it was like, what a letdown. Id watched the danish version and it was brilliant ,best thing in ages. Its just been repeated again.
As for Flashforward and The Event they all got cancelled so we never seen any real ending.

I can see how it must be difficult for the production team writers etc.. not knowing whether or not the show is going to be 'awarded' a new season so try to wrap things up if they can.

Recently with 'Supernatural' it seemed to be coming to an end but it seemed to me the writers knew they were going to be a seventh series and started to change the story arc slightly about three episodes from the end of the sixth season.

I am going to tackle it this afternoon but with twigs, bits of branch, clusters of and loose fallen leaves plus a good splattering of bird feathers, I don't relish it. As it has been raining all these things are a pain to pick up in the grass catcher.
