You many think this is very strange but...

I am prone to night terrors. Within the last 6-8 months I have had a recurring night terror almost every night. At the climax of the night terror I always think that my husband is plotting to kill me or doing some sort of tests on me. For a few seconds I have a terrible sense of dread and as I begin to awaken properly and think rationally I know that it was a night terror. I am always left with an extremely high heart rate until I begin to relax again. I know how absurd it all sounds and my husband thinks it is very funny but I am deeply frustrated and slightly worried by its frequency.

I didn't see that programme Sara, wish I did as it could have helped. I think my husband finds it funny because he is unsure how to deal with it. Tiredness could be a factor however, fortunately stress is not.
