Any ideas?
That because your favourites were in internet explorer? or do I misunderstand?
Question Author
Thanks Ratter. Does that mean I can't get them back without re-saving them?
This should sort it out for you. http://firefox-web-br...-favourites-into.html
My favourites were in IE but I'm using chrome and they are still there so surely firefox import too.
On top menu bar open File then Import. You should get option to import from IE.
Ive just done myself and it worked a treat, they will be found under bookmarks in a separate folder.
When you installed Firefox you should have been given the option to import your existing 'favorites' (I hate that American spelling!) into Firefox's 'bookmarks'. If you accepted that option, clicking on 'Bookmarks' should show all of your old 'favorites'.

If you didn't accept the option to import your Internet Explorer favorites, it's not too late to do so. Follow these instructions:

Thank you very much everyone. I think I have sorted it out. It's just a bit different to IE. Panic over!

Sorry, I should have said YOU have sorted it out for me! x
