Should some Lib/Dem members of a coalition party's cabinet *** (this word has been censored, the word was also word for a welsh mines *** heap) off their Tory counterparts in public.

If they are prepared to serve under a coalition government, then to the general public they should be seen to act as one.

What goes off between them at cabinet meetings is another matter.

Politicians should present a calm and mature appearence in public, so that the electorate gains the impression (at least) that they are in command of what they are supposed to be doing. Anyone, politician or not, who resorts to public name-calling comes over as a loser.

There is a good deal of dislike, even hatred between the Tories and Lib Dems, and it's becoming ever more apparent from the party members themselves of that fact. They should shut up and get on with running the country, instead of name calling, squabbling like schoolchildren.

Considering this is the first peacetime coalition, and it involves two unlikely bedfellows, it is working remarkedly well. I would have expected far more falling out and anger from the fringes of each party. They share a mutual srlf interest, nothing else.
