Would You Wash Your Hair Now...

I've got an important meeting at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning.
Would you wash your hair now while you've got plenty of time or get up an hour earlier in the morning to fit in, breakfast, walking the dogs and getting ready? It would have to be a 7 o'clock wake up.

The meeting is this morning and I'm sitting here with a curly mess. No, I didn't wash it yesterday and am going up to wash it now. The weather is dry thank goodness. Do I wash it before I take the dogs out or after? Oh, decisions, decisions.

After, chrissa - you shouldn't go out with wet hair (or so my granny used to tell me).

Oops, sorry, can`t you tell I`ve been up since 4 am, as usual!

No, no boxtops. It's got to have half an hour spent on it with the blowdryer.

Why do we always want the opposite of what we have? Lotty would like straight hair and I sit for hours in the hairdressers having a perm to make my lank hair curly. I would love to have naturally curly hair. Believe me I look even worse with straight hair than I do with curly.

I had really curly hair as a little girl Starbuck - when I was two it was tight little bubble curls. Then it went straighter. (might be to do with the fact that my mother pulled it back into tight plaits!! Then when I got past 40 is started going wiggly again and got thicker!! Now it is not exactly curly - just wiggly with some curly bits - a complete disaster when it gets longer. I think I look awful with curly hair!!

Well, my curly but made straight hair and I made our meeting on time and the dogs got walked ok too. The meeting was a success I hope.

A company wants to buy my late husband's web site and I think we will come to a mutually advantageous agreement. Fingers crossed.
