I have been selecting about 50 photos from various folders and putting them into a Tesco prog with the intention of them making up a family album. No problem so far......but when I go back to the original folders all the photos that I chose have been duplicated and some triplicated, can anyone please explain why and can I delete them more quickly than one(x2) at a time???? Thanks!!

To select multiple items within a folder, hold down the Ctrl key as you click on each one in turn. To delete all selected items, right-click on any one of them and choose 'Delete'.

Strangely, selecting multiple items (as per my first sentence) is usually the cause of unwanted copies being created in the first place. It occurs (while the Ctrl key is held down) when the user moves the mouse cursor away from a selected item before fully releasing the mouse button.

And in addition to above, if you change the folder view to details and then sort by date (click on the word date at the top of the column) you'll probably find it easier to pick out the duplicates as they'll all have a more recent date.
