Cleaning tarmac drive

We have just had our drive tarmaced. Then we had some builders lay some slabs on the patio but they have marked the tarmac while they were ixing the concrete and pointing Is there any way that we can clean it?

if it is cement dust and other debris then a quick power washing will sort it! if they have indented or damaged the tarmac nothing will work except getting he workmen back!

how long has the dust/dirt bee lying there Granny
The builders that made the mess should come back and clean it up!!

a few days - they hosed it down and said it would gradually wash away but if it doesn't I will get them back
It really does wear off, by the wind and weather, but it doesn't happen quickly. I've had cement marks on my asphalt drive, and using a hosepipe and a stiff brush made no impression on the marks. Beware of using chemical cleaners: I was advised against it by one of B&Q's staff. He tried it on his own drive, and succeeded in dissolving some of his asphalt!
