Just a quick message to inform anyone who was was interested that again i was woken up by the males cry this morning but as i knew what it was it was neither alien or frightening to me so i just went back to bed for an hour.
I had my first cup of coffee on my balcony overlooking m neighbors large garden with these birds there and thought how lucky am i to have this view, if the weather was better i could easily be in deepest safari africa.
Maybe i'm just getting soft in my old age.

Jan1ne I am pleased to hear it, have a good day
Awww, nice outcome!

Nice to see you weren't put off us yesterday, we ain't that bad, ahem...
India, not Africa.

Glad you're adjusting to your new neighbours.
It was a great thread by the way...glad it's had a nice ending...and I know it drove you nuts but you made a lot of folk laugh and hopefully had some sensible advice too... beware of going off when some of us get a bit silly however briefly though... flounces however small are best left to the experts and we'd far rather you joined the madness...
Yeah, apologies for being a bit daft on yesterdays thread, but it was the funniest one I've read for a while... and it had been a long day.
It's great that all's ended well and you're right, you are lucky to have such a wonderful sight, right on your doorstep. Enjoy! :-)
Jan1ne - is that a rhino I see on your horizon....?

Glad it's all working out, and best wishes to your cat from ours ;-)
Lol Box. The "deepest Africa" bit made me chuckle, too :-))
Must admit, they can be quite relaxing listen to at times ... and a beautiful sight, of course.

And they are edible, so if they really do become too much then you could always shoot one for the Christmas table. ;-)
My mind is still boggling at the thought of one woman walking 7 peafowl on leads along the road.
PLEASE tell me that part wasn't true, or provide photos.
Please. I'll forgive you if it wasn't true.
