Outnumbered the tv comedy

does anyone else like this too ? who writes it ? its such a good script reminds me of Hwyell Bennet in Shelley. Last week was brilliant when the mum said to Ben "is that the same friend that saw Barak Obama in Lidls last week" that really made me chuckle.

I understand this is largely unscripted, only a storyline is prepared and the rest is ad libbed...great perfomances from the kids...

I love this show. I think Andy Hamilton is one of the creators (the short guy who is on QI, Mock the Week sometimes). I heard that most of the kids stuff is ad libbed though.

i really was a fan of the first series, but as the children are older its not as nny. IMO

Yes, I'd heard most of the kids' bits were ad libbed, but when I saw them interviewed on the One Show recently I expected them to be spontaneuosly funny but was disappointed.

I agree with nudgescuffler - in particular the little girl. She wasn't actually an actress as such, she came to the attention of the wife of a TV exec (or something like that) because she was so outgoing and confident and then selected for the part from there on.
