mp3's in e-mails

is it possible to add mp3 files containing music attached to an e-mail if so does anyone know what size the biggest attached is allowed

It compresses the file so making uploading and downloading take less time.
twonk, mp3's are already compressed so zipping it wouldn't compress it much further.
However, if you use something like WinRAR you can take one 100mb file and break it up into 10 x 10mb files which the recipient (again using WinRAR) can piece together back into one hugely obscenely big mp3 file again.
gmail allows 10mb attachments and gives absolutely tons of space so as well as allowing you to send (and receive) the attachments, you can also archive them online too.
You need an invite to get an account there as far as I know.

ive just found a site called http://dropload.com/ they let you leave files on their site for whoever you want to pick up i'm giving it a try cheers everybody
