Reasonable result for Chelsea tonight, I would have expected Arsenal to do better.

Thought Valencia might have done better playing at the Mestalla. Valencia have been playing really well so far this season. My team won 5-0 in Belarus so I'm not complaining.

Creditable result for Chelsea last night, a bit of madness giving away that Penalty right at the end. Arsenal are struggling even though they won, he needs to go into Transfer market in January

I'm just pleased Arsenal won! Yes, they should have done better but a win's a win.

Arsenal the only English team to win (and to date in 8 games English teams have won but twice)- victories in the CL are not to be taken for granted as Man Utd discovered the previous evening(!).
Arsenal made 9 signings before the transfer deadline. So it isn't new players that are needed, rather probably an answer to why so many injuries?
Very interestingly after a shaky defensive performance in the 1st half, Arsenal's defence was transformed in the second, and looked much more solid. Could it be that with Pat Rice alone available to speak to the players, for once they got a proper lecture on defending from an ex-defender.
