Never complained about anything before but I was so mad this morning. Received a coupon to claim extra Clubcard points but said it had to be scanned in store to received the free clubcard voucher. Phoned them to say I do not shop in store as I am disabled but have shopped on line with them since it has been possible to do so, so how do I go about redeeming my coupon? Was told simply "you can't, you have to go to a store" and when I said I wanted to complain was told to email them. I have therefore sent them an email accusing them of discrimination against disabled people who can only shop online. Why am I now worrying about whether I did the right thing?
Just been on line and checked my Clubcard account and there are also £10 worth of vouchers that I have not used because I've either not received them or mislaid them as I have moved since some were issued. It gives the codes to use online so that's another result. Wonder how many people know about that as well. I suppose it will teach me to check my account more often.
I've got one of those and I only do online shopping. Well done Jan. I shall join you and make a complaint. If enough people complain they might do something about it. As for your question, you did do the right thing, no need to worry.
Starbuck, all you have to do is go in to your Clubcard Account and tick the evouchers box on your account preferences and you should get vouchers you can use online or in store. I had done that but they still sent me the wrong voucher so just make sure the box is ticked in your account before you complain. Mind you it may be still worth it as they will send you a new voucher anyway.
