drinkin rum no harm done

i was told the best thing to drink in a pub at chroistmas was rum as u can drink about ten and it shouldnt register on a police breathaliser does anyone know if this is true as i am going to a party 2moro and fancy a drink

Not true. You still need to stay within the legal alcohol limit, so unless it's some uber-low alcohol rum you'll still need to moderate your drinking.

Hi coglan, just look at a bottle of Rum at the %proof and you will see that it is the same or more than whisky..gin...vodka....etc..... so it is obvious that the effect will the same or more. You might need to be a bit more careful with your ''friends'' if they give advice like that.
