My OH makes vegetable as well as home-made tomato, but I outdo him on the home-made lentil.

oatmeal soup, melt the marg, add finely chopped onions and seasoning, add finely oatmeal stuff and stir, Add full fat milk and gently heat. Add the full fat cream. Serve with a touch of parsley on top.(eeek forgot to say add a pint of chicken stock before the milk and cream?

cheers boxy, it sounds weird but it is tasty and is also a good base for home-made mushroom or chicken :D
