Do you ever get this? How does it make you feel? I get it regularly and always feel an impending sense of doom. Like something bad is about to happen.

I think there is another word for what you describe, but I can't think of it at the moment. Might be precognition, but not sure. Deja vu is when you go to a place that you have never been before and recognise certain aspects of it as if you had seen it in a previous life.
I used to get this alot when i was a child and it worried me for years that there was something wrong with me until i finally asked my mum when i was a teenager.
i can understand how this is due to brain processes and electrical impulses being out of synch. mine tend to last more like a minute than a few seconds.
I still get this occasionally and I've noticed it does tend to be when I'm particularly stressed and busy. twice a day does sound quite frequent though mungbeanz.
