Lupus??

what is this?? what are the symptoms??

my sister is going to teh dr today as my great aunt has scared her into thinking she has it!!!!

she has a very large unexplainable bruise on her arm with swelling... its in a place that cant really be knocked without noticing and is far to big not to know how you did it.

she feels silly going to the dr but my aunt told her how another cousin in wales has lupus and things like that and starting to get grey hair is a sign... my sis also has been noticing more grey hairs but probably no more than any other 30 year old.

is she panicking a bit... i told her its not silly to go to the dr even if just to put her own mind at ease now.

what actually is lupus????
