Can you get tested for allicin intolerance?

Basically, everytime I eat onions, especially raw onions or onions that haven't been completely cooked, the next day I can feel REALLY ill! I've noticed a definite link between the two and sometimes the reaction is faster. Even the smallest bit of onion sets me off. I get an upset stomach, feel horribly sick though I never am and generally just feel quite lethargic because I feel so ill!
I've tried to avoid them as much as possible, but the effect seems less when they are cooked, however unless they are thoroughly cooked I can still feel really ill!
I read recently that garlic, leeks, onions etc all contain allicin which some people are intolerant to, but apparently allicin can be cooked off, that us to say the more it's cooked the less 'potent' it is, hence I can eat cooked onions/garlic etc.
I was wondering if there is any way to get tested for this intolerance?

In my opinion allergy tests to food intolerances are unreliable and misleading and in your case, the proof that you have an intolerance to Allicin, is in the eating (pun not intended)......just avoid raw onions.
