Turned the TV on to watch Downton.....

A tad early and got the Xfactor. i thought it was very cruel, the way they disposed of the wannabe's. So I came on here until 9 pm. I'm not into reality TV.Are you?

I never watch reality programmes - I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could lay themselves open to such verbal abuse and humiliation. Their need to be on TV must be so great that they will risk it. There is enough unasked for trouble in real life without actually asking for it.

Maybe its an age thing Starbuck. My kid sister (69) is staying with us and she loves it. We cringe. She also tipples my Whyte and Mackay while watching. Insult to injury lol.

No. I'm with boxy and starbuck. Someone said to me once "Oh! You MUST watch X Factor." and I replied "Why? I'd rather go onto the main road and watch an actual car crash than car crash TV like that rubbish." She didn't lokk that impressed with the answer.

I have to tune out the voices of my colleagues when they start spouting about it at work. Should be fun tomorrow..... :-(

No mikmak, I hate X factor!......do like Downton though!.....watch it every week, but the flippin phone keeps ringing in the middle of it!...........so annoying!.......haven't seen one full episode this series yet!......

I watched the earlier Big Brothers and the Pop Idols etc... but not watched much reality TV stuff for a while save 71 Degrees North and Strictly on and off.
