What is the total amount I send for an Indian tourist Visa? I am utterly confused by all these add ons. I am white British so no nationality complications. Everywhere I look there are different prices and charges. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance - Shirley

There's a simple chart on the back page of here which tells you a variety of costs, according to why you are travelling - does this help? Basic tourist visa is £66 according tot hat

Thanks for the info, but it is now out of date. The process for applying has now changed and it is through an appointed agency, not the Indian High Commission. Now you can see why I am confused! They have outsourced to VFS global and I still can't see the charges! Thanks for trying to help!
