laptop screen going blank...?

sound is still playing and backlights show, but screen either goes light grey or black.

it has happened before and i just randomely pressed buttons and it went ok, but its happened again

any ideas?

is it a loose connection perhaps?

Screensaver or power saver kicking after so many minutes without activity?

Have a look at Windows Control Panel - Power options.

The screen saver may be set switch the monitor off after say 10 minutes. Just increase the time.

just discovered a bloody big crack across the bottom... i noticed that pressing down on the keyboard brought the grey sceen, but slightest movement it went black again...

dont know whats happened to it, but i reckon somethings either come loose, or cracked too?
