how cold do you need to get it to have solid hydrogen, and how big would the explosion be if you got a 1000m cubed of it and put it in molton lava

I think that the only way to find out what would happen by dropping a 10 metre cube of it into molten lava would be to try it - and I'm certainly not going to volunteer! (In practice, as soon as you got your giant 'ice' cube anywhere near to the lava, the heat would rapidly convert it to gas anyway)>
