Pop into your local pharmacist first thing tomorrow and explain your symptoms, they'll advise you further is the best advice really.

Why don't you ask the pharmacist? Or if you live near a herbalist give them a go. You could also try a Sterimar nasal wash from the pharmacy it does help "flush" out some of the gunk.
I use Covonia expectorant and it works wonders when I've got bronchitis.
Get an inhaler cup from your pharmacy, use it to inhale steam from boiled water, maybe put a drop of eucalyptus oil in in as well. Also try googling for diaphragmatic breathing and effective coughing technique to help shift the gunk from your lungs. Sleeping in a propped up position will also help.
eucalyptus crystals are really good, you need just a small pinch, in a bowl of hot water, put a towel over your head and inhale the vapour, be sure to add just a small pinch, they are very strong!..........but if you do this regularly it will help lots!.......hope you feel better soon.............
Benylin [mucus cough] aids a productive cough.
Also a few drops of eucalptus oil on your pillow case at night.

Drip from the nose?
Thick or thin (the catarrh that is ;-))

Hi Squad,

I have to keep trying to cough up the Phlegm which is thickish white and I have to keep trying to swallow.
Do not sneeze or drip from the nose.
OK...then I agree with daffy and welshlibranr
Try Friars Balsam. You inhale it and loosens everything up!
