Did anyone else wrongly count the number of squares to be shaded by counting all the letters of each individual word that had to be shaded?
Populated most of the grid quite quickly, and shaded the the connection and what it connected, before I finished populating the SW corner of the grid.
A quick search revealed the currently relevant words. I thought the connection was suitably positioned!
