i have been asked to register on this as a supplier, by the council

it wants my bank details for easier payment etc

i dont have to though...so wondered if i shouldnt?

not sure i want my details permanently registered...but then again they probably already are anyway from past jobs...

but is there any reason id be better of sticking with individual invoices and providing my details as and when necessary?

i am not a permanent employee...just and occasional one (freelance)

thanks

They may decide only to use suppliers who go onto this system
It will be quicker and easier to get paid if you register. Once your invoice is received and approved payment will be made by BACS to your account. If you don't register there will be extra steps necessary to organise the payment to you.
i think you better had. not being on the list may prevent you from working with them in future.
our company uses BACS,basically once your details are registered the button is pushed on whatever day is paying out day and everyone gets paid..Since we have had this system in place we are never on stop with anyone waiting payment.
The only downside is these payments are only done on a particular date once a month if the invoice isnt logged or received before this date it wont get paid paid until the following month.
hi joko i work in the public sector and can only procure from people who are on our system. Giving your bank details is just like writing someone a cheque - all the same details are on there
