If you bring in more than 3200 you could have them confiscated or at least o lot of grilling from custom officers, that is considered the approved limit for persoanl use

The guideline maximum for personal use is 3200 (not from the Canaries though which is 200 I think)

unlimited to means the same as unlimted texts, at some point you are gonna get charged for those so bringing in an unholy amount of duty free will get you stopped

Yes, the guideline has been reduced but you are still allowed to bring in any amount for your own use.

depends how often u travel. U gotta prove them fr ur own use. Printout HMRC rules, keep receipts. 20cigs daily : 36.5 stix annually

If you attempt to bring in more than the indicative limit of 800 and if you are stopped, Customs will push the burden of proof onto you. They will ask repeated questions about how much you smoke, the source of your funds and the brand you smoke. If you are inconsistent in your answers, they will seize the goods (and if you are in a car and you misled them when they asked what you have at the start, they will seize your car).
