Those Q Ash Trays
34 Answers
I was just looking at the parrot thread, and thinking how few people have parrots nowadays.
And then I thought ... Quaglino's ashtrays!
Everyone used to have a "Q" ashtray at home (nicked from Quaglino's), but now there's no smoking in restaurants, can you even get one???
When you ate at Quaglino's, you used to put them in your bag. When I got mine, about three of us "bagged" them, and then they appeared on the bottom of the bill. Fairy nuff, I suppose.
Has anyone else got one?

Imagine if you will a hand held plastic disc approximately 1 inch thick.
Encased in the disc is a piece of cardboard with holes and plastic blocks.
The object of the game is to the enclosed ball bearing from point A to point B avoiding the holes by balancing the disc and tilting it to and fro.
A sort of maze game.

There's no excuse for pinching ash trays.
Apparently they were losing about 1,000 a month!
They were described as "the most stolen item in London" ...
